WHAT A LETDOWN

I've been waiting 2 frickin weeks for Britney's damn VMA performance. I was so damn excited. She let us down BIG TIME. She didn't even try, couldn't lip sync worth a shit, she moved like she was bored out of her mind, she looked good, but the outfit was boring as hell. I just don't understand, this was her one chance to prove that she still had it. Well I guess she doesn't cuz she would have made MUCH more of an effort if she still did. And where the hell was Criss Angel??? I was lookin forward to seeing him as much as Britney. He was in the audience, but we never saw him. Does this mean they really were screwing all this time they were supposedly "rehearsing"??? Probably.

There are excuses going around as to why she performed so poorly, but none of them are good excuses. Performers are suppose to be able to give it their all even when they are having personal problems. So unless one of her kids died, or she found out that Cheetos were discontinued, there's no excuse.

EXCUSE #1 - She knew what Sarah Silverman was going to say about her after she performed.

EXCUSE #2 - She found out Criss Angel was with another girl the night before.

Now what Sarah Silverman had to say after Britney performed was really uncalled for . . . it was mean and unnecessary:

“Wasn't that incredible? Britney Spears, everyone. Wow. She is amazing. She is 25-years-old and she’s already accomplished everything she’s going to accomplish in her life. It’s mind blowing.”

“Have you seen Britney’s kids? Oh my god, they are the most adorable mistakes you will ever see! They are as cute as the hairless vagina they came out of.”

Yes, that was extremely mean, but suck it up and do what you went there for and prove to everyone that you still got it. But that didn't happen.

There was also a rumor that the performance she was suppose to have with Criss Angel was canceled for insurance purposes because the casino thought it was too risky. Maybe she was upset because she couldn't perform with her man.

Whatever the case, she failed miserably and I honestly thought it was done on purpose and that she would come out later with something spectacular. Boy was I wrong.

Not only did Britney suck, the whole program was awful. We don't wanna see people partying while watching live bands, we want performances dammit. It all basically sucked. The only really good part was Chris Brown, he should be crowned for his performance, he blew the whole damn thing away. At least that 5 minutes wasn't a waste of my time.
