Tommy Lee has quit the band. No more Crue . . . damn that sucks. Well, let's face it, they're getting really old, I mean Mick Mars can barely walk anymore. I guess it's time. I saw them for their last tour a couple years ago and they weren't what they were when I saw them in 89, that's for sure, but they still rocked. As old and feeble as Mick Mars is, that dude can kick some ass on the guitar still!! That dude rocked like you would not believe. Anyway, R.I.P. Motley Crue.UPDATE!!!! . . . .
Well, I just found an article from NME that says Tommy Lee has made a statement:
"I am a founding member of Motley Crue. I have tried to meet with my band-mates repeatedly without success but have informed them that I'm not walking away from my band of 25 years."
"It troubles me that the current legal issues which were filed by the corporations against my personal manager are separating us and causing more dysfunction. I hope we can work this out amongst ourselves."
