So it being a new year I have decided to be a new kind of woman. I've changed my signature scent (However I am still keeping my old signature scent for night). And today kiddies I chopped my luscious locks into long bangs!!! Ayumie my hairdresser never fails me or anyone. She does everything AMAZING and is licensed in any hair specialized trade you can think of from here to Japan. I recommend her services highly. All you faux blonds out there in NYC this chick can paint you a mean beautiful shade of platinum and keep your hair way conditioned like no one else!!! Sexy Paige and other Sexy Manipulators!!!

So first off I need to thank my darling indie rock princess PAIGE WOOD for dragging my ass out into last night's rain to hear her sing some improve at Loving Cup all the way into Brooklyn. I started chatting up a storm with the bartender a sweet boy named Lucas who ended up knowing about 8 people and an x boyfriend in common. And he played some old tunes by our old pals The Witnesses,and he introduced me to the my new favorite band MACK WINSTON AND THE REFLECTIONS!!! This band has the drummer Joey Valentine formerly the star drummer of THE STAR SPANGLES and guitar player/singer Darien aka MACK WINSTON of THE WITNESSES. I'm currently hooked on their song "Manipulator" I recommend you watch the video here if only for the sexy chick in a hot dress strolling around.

Now that I've ranted on about the LA scene let's get back to NYC!!! The main reason why I went out was to see my southern dolly songstress strum her guitar and add some improv to her set list of old songs,current,and covers. Sex Style and Adventures with THE BOX!!!

Please let me start out by saying I take no sides in the battle between Simon Hammerstein or the Porcelain Twinz. I don't know both sides to the stories. But I am a fan to both the box and fascinated with the Twinz and their powerful erotic personna!!!



So if you've been following me you know I have a new found love of THE BOX without slightly pretencious hipsters that is. I'm a little late to pick up on night life trends and hot spots because well,I'm not a hipster. I love my home and crafting new accessories,and adventure hopping all over the city with could be,but won't be Billion heir-less Sophia Zahmir who is so endlessly kind to me. An absolute doll. My other native New Yorker socialista friend Jess, drags me all over NYC like a native she is dying to bring me to The Plaza for high tea beneath the Eloise painting, I love!!! I can't wait to see the Chanel exhibit in the park this week with her.

I wish things worked out better for the famed Porcelain TwinZ burlesque duo, because I've never been able to see their scandalous erotic burlesque acts. One day I would kill to dress these doll like sex goddesses!!!

This was the best Halloween in 3 years. Everything from my costume obsessed blondie dragging me out 2 hours into Long Island to get a sexy dress to Paige Wood's carriage house bonfire and disco light include (I love this indie rock princess)...

But we headed off tho the Box and got a gentlemen to buy us like 80 bucks worth of fine campaign while burlesque shows played on stage in smoke costume and sex.

Ending the night at Schillers on the LES for tres decadent Bananas Splits fit for Marie Antoinette. Take a look and envy...Send us picks of you all decked to kill!!!

I Wanna Rock n'Roll on the Beach

I have a new partner in crime and her name is Robin Vin-T Bikini designer extraordinaire!!! She hand cuts vintage t-shirts into hot durable bikinis that are all one of a kind.

I'd say 90% of her collection inspiration heavily relies on Rock N Roll which is what makes it so hot. She also cuts up other miscellaneous T's in an effort to expand her clientele...Vin-T is a total hit within the Malibu Beverly Hills community and soon she'll be a hit here for sure.

Fashion Show Line outside THE BLONDS

You can tell a bit about a designer by the crowds outside its line,just waiting to get into the big show. THE BLONDS had all the right kind of cool outside. Rockstars,Fashion illustrators,a touch of uptown but mostly downtown taste makers.


My old pal Oakley Munson who currently has a band,with girlfriend Kristen named "Puddin Tang",Oakley is also the ex lead singer for "The Witnesses" a band that was making headlines in the earlier part of this century.

Die J Mars above has a band called "Tulips for Tina",he is an in house stylist at Patricia Field's and is responsible for getting the "Page SIX,SIX,SIX" t-shirt by SOPHOMORE on to Britney Spear's for the VMA awards.

Pipa McManus above is a fashion illustrator with hot hair that was appropriate for the BLOND fashion show. She was responsible for designing the Aurelio Costarella invite.

Last night I headed over to Gossip Girl Nights, appropriately held at a little Upper East Side spot called Pop Lounge. The weekly, fashionindie-sponsored event is the kind of thing that makes me wish I lived in NYC, or at least visited more. Every Monday a different designer from the show is featured. This week's event showcased Angel Lust by Kristen May, an adorable line of headbands and bows that are perfect for turning up the charm on your sweet (and even your not-so-sweet) outfits. The retro-style lounge was ideal spot for indulging in cocktails and appetizers and a few OMFGs, naturally, and when the episode ended I had a chance to chat with the incredibly sweet Kristen herself, along with a few of her friends. Topics ranged from vintage shopping to blogging to grandmas (yup), and my way out i was treated to a gift bag filled with chocolates from the Chocolate Bar at Bendel's (where Kristen's pieces have been showcased) and a few other girly treats. Backstage and name dropping at THE BLONDS

New York fashion week tends to be a bit seemingly boring at times. All shows thrown by MAO never seem to fail me. Last night if you missed Phillipe and David Blond's runway costume design extravaganza,then you missed out big. and I'm not just talking about the actual show. The crowd was equally important,the front row was filled with every hot fashionista brat in the business. Pat Field sat front row with shades on, yielding the flashing cameras. World famous Amanda Lepore was up front in her frilly pink frock,when the spotlight wasn't on here then it was on Andre J. No true MAO fashion show is absolutely complete without the legendary Warhol superstar Sylvia Miles with the Baroness Sherry von Korber-Bernstein and her feathered hats!!!

But enough party talk. I want to praise the Blond's for spicing up fashion week with their blingged out corsets,jeweled flesh toned bathing suits and feathered goods.

This glammed up show was heavily accented with the finest jewels designed by Ramona Boucher,her couture jewelry line is called BASTION. I stumbled upon the table and chatted up with Ramona herself. To my surprise she told me that she designed that famous to die for rose diamond ring that Samantha owned on "Sex in the City" the movie!!! I told her a little bit about my baby headband company Angel Lust,and she said "Well maybe you and I should get together and design some head pieces together",My jaw dropped as she slipped me her business card. All I could think was "PROMISE???"...

She handed me one of her gorgeous rocks on a ring and said try it on,OMG was it hard to take off. Her good friend Chad helped me out in that area. Take a closer look at the beautiful rocks in his hands.



All the models where clad in blond wigs naturally,and their nails where even decked out like a disco ball with the help of Creative Nail Designs.

The crow clapped ridiculously hard as super model Alek walk out but it was nothing compared to the applause Phillipe Blond got himself as he strutted the runway at the end.

This was a true fashion moment that hasn't happened since Teri Toye hit the scene in the 80's.

Sept.9th I got a mention in the NY Post regarding Gossip Girl Night's.

To complement its bridge show last week, Fashion Indie is planning a mass "Gossip Girl" viewing this week at Pop Lounge in Midtown. Kristen May, whose accessories have appeared on the show, will be on hand to show off her creations to hundreds of viewers.

Last night's Gossip Girl nights at POP LOUNGE...

POP LOUNGE is a swanky gourmet lounge with 6 wide screen projectors that show GOSSIP GIRL every Monday at 8. A new designer will show their line every week in a trunk show manner or display. It is hosted by Fashion Indie. Right next to Bergdorff Goodman's I recommend this place to chow down at after a long day's worth of shopping. Its a great date space as well,or to just simply sit and look fabulouse....Be sure to try their lobster rolls and a side cocktail called "Flirtinie"!!!
